Company

Clark Pulley Industries is a leading manufacturer of steel pulleys for outdoor power equipment, agri-business, and the appliance industries. We are also a leading processor of Aquence™ coating for our products and various industries, including automotive.

In 1965, Clark Consolidated Industries purchased Salem Stamping, a tool & die shop in Salem, Ohio. This purchase formed Clark Pulley Corporation, and started to manufacture stamped V-belt pulleys and sheaves for the lawn and garden and farm equipment industries.

Clark Consolidated Industries’ continued growth at the Salem operation allowed for an expansion. In 1980, Clark Pulley Corporation of Alabama was formed and opened a new facility in Russellville, Alabama. Manufacturing continued at both locations until 1985, when the Salem facility was closed and all operations were moved to the newer, more modern facility in Russellville, Alabama.

In 1989, Clark Consolidated Industries sold Clark Pulley Corporation of Alabama to Agri-Fab Inc., a lawn and garden equipment manufacturer located in Sullivan, Illinois. This acquisition was the beginning of what is now known as Clark Pulley Industries, Inc.

During our time in Russellville there have been 2 additions to the original 50,000 square foot facility. In 1995 an additional 30,000 square feet was added for manufacturing. In 2005 an additional 60,000 square feet was added for manufacturing and warehousing, bringing our total square footage to 140,000.

Since being acquired by Agri-Fab, we have enjoyed a growing presence in the outdoor power industry as a major supplier of stamped, split, and spun steel pulleys. While the outdoor power market has always been the primary market of Clark Pulley, our Aquence™ coating has allowed growth in other markets as well.
